Nalini Madiwale, M.D. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and a Glaucoma specialist. Dr. Madiwale has been in practice for more than 30 years. Dr. Madiwale specializes in Glaucoma treatment, Secondary and Tertiary Glaucoma care, and specialty surgeries.After 21 years providing subspecialty care at Ophthalmic Consultants, Dr. Madiwale is now semi-retired and serving in a part-time role with the practice. Dr. Madiwale has been practicing and teaching medicine in the United States since the 1980s. She has shared her expertise in Glaucoma surgery and other diseases of the eye in Massachusetts and Rochester, New York before joining Ophthalmic Consultants of the Capital Region in 1999. Alongside her medical practice, Dr. Nalini Madiwale has had the honor of serving on the faculty of two of the world’s most prestigious medical schools: Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts and University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, Rochester, New York. She ran a satellite clinic for Massachusetts General Hospital on behalf of Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary. Dr. Madiwale was also a part-time faculty member at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary.
